London (Hybrid Role) 

£45,000 – £55,000 per annum, plus car allowance 

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join a renowned international construction consultancy based in London. You’ll be making a significant impact on this rail project which will elevate your career in the infrastructure sector. 

Ideally the successful candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of NEC3 contracts and have a degree in a construction-related field. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be a key part in supporting the whole contract lifecycle, a part of this role will be having excellent communication and presentation skills. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Collaborating with the team and engaging with clients 
  • Demonstrating a solid understanding of construction, including the impact of program lengths on preliminaries, among other aspects. 
  • Monitoring expenses related to Purchase Orders and request adjustments as necessary. 
  • Utilising strong Excel skills  
  • Analysing, manipulate, and summarise data. 

Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Commercial Management/Quantity Surveying or a relevant construction-related discipline, or substantial prior experience in a similar role. 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for effective collaboration within larger teams and engagement with clients’ supply chain. 
  • Proficiency in working with NEC contracts.
