Senior Planner

Hybrid / Redhill

£425 – £450 (Inside IR35)

We are currently looking for a Senior Planner to work on a significant infrastructure project. You will be involved beyond the initial stages of the project and will be in charge of managing the schedule’s creation, maintenance, monitoring, and recovery plan. Additionally, you will provide technical guidance and support to guarantee that milestones are met throughout the project’s timeline.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the delivery team to coordinate work sequences as you create and maintain the project schedule for work activities with distinct milestones.
  • Control the evaluation, acceptance or rejection of the contract program while assessing compensation occasions. besides performing a delay analysis.
  • To help determine the number of work hours required for the projects, verify quantity logs to ensure that the total quantities assigned to them are represented.
  • Compare the contractor’s schedules to the baseline and review them, looking for critical path activities and performance variations.

Requirements:

  • Detailed knowledge, understanding and previous experience of NEC contracts.
  • Previously worked on significant infrastructure projects as a senior planner for three or more years. (Pref. project budgets over £10 million).
  • Primavera P6 experience in creating schedules from scratch.
  • Demonstrated expertise in statistical analysis, quantity takeoffs, and computer operations.
  • An understanding of the engineering, contracts, procurement, construction, and start-up work processes.
  • You will have prior planning experience in at least one of the following fields: aviation, defense, building, civil engineering, power, rail, telecom, and utilities.
  • Excellent data handling, reporting, and analysis skills to find problems, solutions, and potential solutions.
  • The ability to present information in a way that is clear and meets the needs of the stakeholders.
